Garnier Miracle Skin Cream - Review

I first saw and heard about this product in Viviannadoesmakeup's 5 Minute Makeup Video.

After watching her video, with her gorgeous skin and eyebrows (yes I'm a little in love!) I had to go out and buy it, so I went to boots and it was marketed at a surprisingly expensive £12.99.  For what it is, I thought it was a tad overpriced and actually didn't buy it.  As you all know, last week I had a little getaway to Spain (POST ABOUT THAT COMING SOON) and whilst in the supermarket saw it at €10,95 which works out at about £8, how could I refuse that!?

Obviously all the writing on the box is in Spanish, but the box basically says it provides an instantly flawless skin tone and 24 hour hydration and over a long period of time, anti wrinkle, anti age spots and improves visible skin quality.  It also has SPF 20 which is an added bonus to help keep the skin protected.  I didn't believe one little cream could provide this much benefit to my skin.

When it first comes out of the tube, it is a white fairly thin cream.  In my opinion it has a very lovely fresh scent, which may not suit you if you have sensitive skin but I think it is a very nice smell but not too overpowering.

And hopefully from this picture you can see that the cream also has micro - pigments in its colour adjusting formula.  This cream can basically be used as a foundation on a good skin day, if you don't like heavy foundations, perfect for the up and coming summer months.  I have learnt from using this cream in Spain and since I have been home, a little does go a long way.  This did surprise me when I first used it but its definitely better to use a little bit and add more.

I really, really like this product, its quick and easy to use when you have an early start, it has a fresh scent and looks great on the skin, and I believe it would suit all skin types.  I have a drier skin type and I get enough hydration from it, but for a more oily skin you could add a bit of powder where necessary.

For me, the only disadvantage to this product and where I think Garnier have got it wrong, is the price. I think it is way over priced and there are products which do the same things on the market for much less.

Have any of you tried this out/what are your thoughts?

Have you tried the eye cream in the line and would you recommend it for me to try?
